This zesty dip is great to serve at parties and gatherings.
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) container sour
cream
3 bunches green onions, chopped
1 (8 oz.) jar salsa
2 fresh
tomatoes, diced
2 (6 oz.) cans sliced black olives, drained
1 (8 oz.) pkg.
shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
In a medium serving bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream and the green
onions. Top with salsa and layer with tomatoes, black olives and cheese.
All Star Mexican Dip
This will be one of the best layered dips you've ever tasted. You can make it
a bit heartier by adding a layer of refried beans at the bottom.
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (16 oz.) jar taco sauce
1 (16 oz.) container
sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (1 oz.) pkg. taco
seasoning mix
1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup lettuce,
shredded
1 tomato, cubed
2 green onions, sliced
1 (2 oz.) can sliced
black olives, drained
Directions
Crumble the ground beef in a large skillet. Cook over medium high heat until
evenly brown. Drain and mix in the taco sauce; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese and taco seasoning mix.
Spread the mixture into a large serving dish.
Layer the sour cream mixture with the beef mixture, Cheddar cheese and
lettuce. Top with tomato, green onions and black olives.
Cowboy Mexican Dip
This is a really unique dip that features mashed up tamales. You'll be
surprised how amazing it tastes.
12 beef tamales, husked and mashed
1 (15 oz.) can chili without beans
1
(14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 (1 pound) loaf processed
cheese, cubed
Directions
Place the tamales, chili, diced tomatoes and the processed cheese into a slow
cooker. Set heat on high and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is
melted.
Reduce the heat to low and keep the dip warm while serving. Serve with corn
chips or tortilla chips.
Tex-Mex Style Dip
A very good dip made featuring Monterey Jack Cheese, Mexican style cheese,
cream cheese and beef.
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1
(1.25 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup
jalapeno pepper, chopped
2 cups shredded Mexican style cheese
2 cups
shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9-inch pie plate with vegetable oil
spray.
Press the cream cheese evenly onto the bottom of the pie plate.
In a large skillet, brown the hamburger. Drain off the excess fat.
Mix in the taco seasoning and water. Cook and stir 2 to 4 minutes. Remove the
skillet from the heat. Mix in the salsa and jalapenos.
Pour the beef mixture over the cream cheese in the pie plate. Sprinkle the
Mexican style cheese and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
Bake until the cheese has melted.
Calico Cheese Dip
A colorful and delicious dip that's great anytime.
4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green
chilies
1 (2.25 oz.) can sliced black olives, drained
4 green onions,
sliced
3 medium tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/2 cup fresh parsley,
minced
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
Tortilla chips
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine the cheese, chilies, olives, onions, tomatoes and
parsley. Prepare the salad dressing mix according to package directions; pour
over cheese mixture and mix well. Serve immediately with tortilla
chips.
